Terms of Service
1. Provider
SponsorGuard is provided by Francisco Garcia Poncetta, Neuhausen, 80638 München, Germany ("we").
2. The service
SponsorGuard automatically checks links in public YouTube video descriptions and reports their status. Results are automated assessments made at the time of the check. They can be wrong, and sites change. Check a link yourself before acting on it or contacting a brand.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure. Use SponsorGuard only for channels you own or manage, or have a legitimate reason to audit.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance, and they renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe as merchant of record, and Stripe's checkout terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in USD. VAT is added where applicable.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your dashboard (Manage or cancel subscription). Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and then won't renew. Paid periods are not refunded, except where the law requires.
6. Coming soon features
Features marked "coming soon" are not part of your current plan until they are released.
7. Fair use
No automated abuse of the service, no reselling of access, and no attempts to bypass plan limits.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded. We are not liable for business decisions you make based on audit results.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site in advance.
10. Law
German law applies. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Munich. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
